Onsite Sport In Unique Collaboration within IT & Swedish Hockeyallsvenskan

With the help of technology from Onsite Sport, the hockey club Mora IK now wants to invest in a digital platform that will provide a closer experience of the sport with a focus on "Fan Engagement". The user reaches the platform via an app that adds a new dimension to the sport through gamification. The app will also serve as a source of inspiration for other elite clubs.

With Onsite Sports' patented technology, the development of the platform and app Onsite Arena is in full swing in collaboration with several parties that offer the fastest technology in the world. The parties work closely together, and the supporters are the stated target group. The IT service provider, Advania, is responsible for the project's infrastructure, which is based on the network provider Aruba's world-leading technology.

With Onsite Sport's unique and patented technology, the user can experience a "lens to screen" effect of >0.2 seconds delay through a dozen numbers of cameras that provide an immersive video angle throughout the arena and which seamlessly lets the user decide what and how to show from the stadium; which allows the user to become their own match producer during the game.

"Now, we can finally show our Fan Engagement vision and take it to the next level. With our experience of game and technology development and Mora IK's trust and dedication in the sport together with the IT knowledge from Advania and Aruba, we will be able to create something you don't want to miss."
"We want to redefine sports for supporters and fans and, above all, drive the younger generation back to the arenas by digitally enhancing the experience through gamification."

Says Fredrik Sjöö, CEO of Onsite Sport.

The project involves building the digital platform, Onsite Arena, and creating a smart arena. Mora IK's Smidjegrav's Arena will be the first to use the patented technology together with services from Advania and Aruba. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is an example where similar Aruba technology has previously been used to create a so-called smart arena.

One of the goals of the digital platform is to attract supporters of all ages to take part in the live feeling at the arena and combine it with innovative and smart experiences via the app. With the help of target group analysis, Mora IK and their supporters have contributed knowledge and input on what is needed to achieve genuine customer value.
